The entire design criteria at Shiplake Meadows is built around residents’ care levels and comfort. Properties are built in small clusters to avoid long internal corridors and help create a feeling of individuality in the apartment buildings, with short travel distances to internal lifts, car parking and facilities. All homes are entirely adaptable to accommodate residents' evolving mobility needs. There are provisions for lifts (or stairlifts) to be installed in the duplex apartments and cottages, and many of the properties have a flexible-use study space that can serve as a third bedroom for family, friends, a housekeeper, or a care assistant.

Our dedicated provider, Home Instead, will deliver a full spectrum of domiciliary care at Shiplake Meadows – from simple companionship to cleaning services or 24/7 live in care if ever needed. All services will be provided on an ‘as needs’ basis and tailored to assist and enable independent home living with support as requirements change. Daily meetings with residents will be available in the comfort of their home or within the Clubhouse treatment suite.
